Dove say: The way a girl feels about her beauty starts with how you feel about yours. With the new Dove: Legacy film we are encouraging everyone to create their own positive beauty legacy, so the girls in their lives grow up feeling confident about the way they look and reach their full potential in life.

Real education on body confidence
10 years ago, we set up the Dove Self-Esteem Project which aims to help young people raise their self-esteem and realise their full potential. We continue this work today online, in schools and through the ‘Free Being Me’ badge programme. More information on these initiatives, can be found at www.selfesteem.dove.co.uk. So far the Dove Self-Esteem Project has reached over 1.3m young people in the UK.
Responsible marketing to support the achievement of real, healthy bodies
In 2004, our Campaign for Real Beauty turned the industry on its head and challenged the status quo by celebrating real women. Today, we remain just as committed to making a difference in how young girls and women feel about their bodies. Working with the Be Real Campaign, we will continue to champion a broader, more inclusive definition of beauty.
